Join me in a fun outdoor knitting event! Collaborate with other knitters to create one-of-a-kind knitted chairs! Bring your unloved yarns and some needles, come and knit some panels and patches and be part of this project.
Help me to realise my vision of creating a totally unique chair cover that involves the creativity and effort of many. Non-knitters are also welcomed, some supplies will be provided and I’ll personally get you knitting!

Here’s another one knitted by the wonderful Talitha.
Here’s what she says about it:
“a papasan chair. yup, something about the cushiness of all the ribbing in this seat invites me, calls me to come & to sit (i’ve always felt the same way about the infamous papasan chairs).
it’s so great to take a formerly cold, almost sterile looking, plastic chair and trasform it so easily into something so cozy. ah…”
I personally agree, don’t you?
Here’s the latest addition to our Not-so-ubiquitous Knitted Chairs collection!
Many people seems to be discouraged by the amount of yarn the chair took to make, so I came up with this solution! It only took 10 skeins of Sirdar Bigga (that’s a mere 440 yards/400 metres!) and a bit of novelty yarn. Ok, so I ran out of yarn for the top bit, but the snowflake yarn I used pull it all together nicely.
Pattern will be available here soon!
Here are what some people have to say about the project,
